 Firewood Quarantine Update

Campground managers in several states and provinces are probably aware of quarantines to prevent the spread of Emerald Ash Borer, or EAB. The areas already infested with EAB have exceeded 40,000 square miles in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Ontario. In addition, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Kentucky, Virginia, Oregon, Florida, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Wisconsin and British Columbia have taken steps to increase public awareness and prevent infestation.
